Vic Gustafson Pool
Vic Gustafson Pool is a 25 yard by 25 meter pool with 10 lanes and a depth of 4.6 feet to 14.6 feet, including 1- and 3-meter diving boards. The pool has locker rooms and lifeguards on duty as well as a sauna and Jacuzzi. In addition to its use by athletic teams, the pool is used for swimming, aquatics, kayaking/canoeing, and other courses taught in the Health and Exercise Science department. The swimming pool and facilities are also available for recreational use by students, staff, faculty, and Gustavus families.
Originally called the Gustavus Natatorium, the facility was renamed Vic Gustafson Pool in 2013 to honor Gustavus Hall of Fame coach John Victor (Vic) Gustafson, who served as the swimming coach from 1945-77.
