MILWAUKEE, Wis. and SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Gustavus women's tennis team Saturday dropped a pair of non-conference matches against higher division competition as a split squad. Half of the Gusties traveled to Division I UW-Milwaukee and lost 6-1, while the other half went to Division II University of Sioux Falls and lost 4-3. The Gusties also played an exhibition against NAIA Cardinal Stritch and lost 4-3.
Gustavus opens conference play Saturday at home against Saint Mary's beginning at 1 p.m. The Gusties also host MSU-Mankato at 6:30 p.m.
