NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's swimming & diving team competed against the St. Olaf College Oles on Friday night, falling 162-138.
Annika Beck won the 1000 and 500 freestyles with times of 10:54.74 and 5:18.93.
Caitlyn Otto placed first in the 100 freestyle, winning with a time of 54.41.
Leah Felton led the Gusties with a second-place finish in both the 200 and 50 freestyles, finishing with times of 1:58.58 and 25.21.
Felicia Symreng placed second in the 200 backstroke with with the top Gustie time of 2:14.89. Joley Anderson led Gustavus in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.92, placing second.
Hadley Wartner placed second in the 200 breaststroke and third in the 100 breaststroke, leading the Gusties with times of 2:34.84 and 1:11.11.
Madison Witte won the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:01.23 and took third in the 200 butterfly at 2:15.34.
Stella Anderson Moye took first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.13.
Erin Hall led the Gusties in the 1-meter dive, placing third in the first event with a score of 165.65 and fourth in the second event at 200.80.
The Gusties won the 200 medley relay (1:49.05) and the 400 freestyle relay (3:38.55).
Gustavus competes at home on Saturday, November 8 against Hamline and Augsburg with diving starting at 9:30am and swimming going at 12pm.
