SAINT PETER, Minn. – Six Gusties on the Esports team were named to the Midwest Valley Esports Conference (MVEC) All-Conference teams for the 2024-25 seasons, the conference announced Friday, March 28, via Twitter. 

Gabe Gohman earned All-Conference first team and captained the Valorant team to their first MVEC LAN and playoff berth. Gohman also earned second team honors in Overwatch 2 for his efforts in DPS and tank roles.

Ewan Hupka was named second team All-Conference in Smash Ultimate for the fall season.

Hayden Jones also earned second team All-Conference for Valorant in the MVEC season

First-year Jose Carroll rounded out third team all conference for Overwatch 2 in the spring season.

Lukas Lennartson and Ping Xhiong were given Honorable Mention All-Conference nods for Valorant.

Gustavus Valorant finish MVEC play at Simpson College in Indianola on Saturday, April 5 with a guaranteed top four finish.
