NORMAN, Okla. - The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced their 2024-25 Team Academic Awards on Tuesday, August 5 with the Gustavus men's golf team being one of the recipients of the award with a 3.41 GPA for this past academic year.
To be eligible for the Team Academic Award, a college or university must submit the grade points earned and hours attempted for each player on its official squad list for the academic year and carry a team GPA of 3.00 or higher.
The Gusties received this team award just one week after the GCAA
announced that five Gustavus student-athletes were recipients of their All-American Scholars awards.
Gustavus men's golf will open their 2025-26 season in Maple Plain on Saturday, September 6 at Pioneer Creek Golf Course for the Minnesota Classic.
