BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Women's cross country member Molly Liston (Sr., Richfield, Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) women's cross country athlete of the week, the MIAC announced Tuesday. 

Liston and the women's cross country team competed at the Augustana Twilight event on Friday, September 5th. The team competed against Division I, Division II and Division III schools, with Liston leading the Division III competition. Liston clocked a 17:43.59 time, which is a personal best by her in the 5000m and 14 seconds ahead of the second place finisher in Division III, Mya Slavin of Saint Mary's. Liston finished 13th overall in the event, besting multiple Division I and Division II runners. 

At the Augustana Invite, the Gustavus team finished fifth overall. The women's cross country is back in action this weekend, competing at the Hamline Invite this Friday in St. Paul.
