SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's cross country team opened their season on Friday with a 5,000 meter run at the Augustana Twilight in Sioux Falls. The Gusties placed 5^th out of the field of 26 teams, which included numerous DII Teams.
 
Molly Liston led Gustavus at the invite, placing 13^th overall out of the field of 319 competitors with a time of 17:43.59.
 
Addison Enfield followed at 18:41.32, placing 42^nd overall for the Gusties.
 
Anna Forbord (19:04.19), Mackenzie Murphy (19:05.31), and Siiri Anderson (19:30.63) rounded out the top-five finishers for the Gusties, placing 63^rd, 67^th, and 96^th.
 
Up next for the Gusties is a trip up to St. Paul on Friday, September 12 for the Hamline Invite.
