Tudor Flintham is in his seventh season as the Gustavus men's soccer head coach in the 2024-25 academic year after taking the program over in spring of 2018.

In seven seasons at Gustavus, Flintham guided the Gusties to four MIAC regular season championships, one MIAC playoff title, and five NCAA tournament appearances, including hosting in 2022 where the Gusties won the NCAA North Regional to advance to the Sweet 16 and then Elite 8. The 2022 team was ranked as high as No. 5 in the nation and finished the regular season undefeated while setting the program record for games undefeated in a single season. The team won the program's record-setting 24th conference championship, while finishing with a 15-2-6 overall record and 9-0-1 conference tally.

In 2024, the Gusties finished 16-2-3 overall, advancing to the NCAA tournament on an at-large bid. The team shared the MIAC regular season title with St. Olaf, and then fell to St. Olaf in the MIAC Playoff Championship. The Gusties defeated MSOE in the first round of the NCAA tournament before falling to UW-Platteville in the second round. Jared Hecht and Owen Johnson earned the program's 18th and 19th All-America awards, marking the sixth consecutive year that the Gusties have boasted an All-American, excluding 2020, when no postseason honors were awarded.

Flintham was voted 2022 MIAC Coach of the Year and the Gustavus soccer staff was recognized as the United Soccer Coaches North Region Staff of the Year. This was the second time in his four years that Flintham had won MIAC Coach of the Year, as in his first season the 2018 squad won the MIAC title. The following year the 2019 won both the regular season and playoff championship, as well as equaling the program record for wins in a season.

Flintham's teams have been ranked No. 1 in the North Region and top-20 in the country in every season he has been at the helm. During this time, the Gusties' conference record is 51-6-7 for an 85.1% MIAC win rate, and they average 14 wins each season. Flintham's Gusties have an overall record of 92-20-18. The Gusties also went undefeated during the restricted and unofficial COVID-19 season. Flintham's win percentage is the highest of any Gustavus soccer coach in the past 50 years.

In seven seasons on the Gustie bench, Flintham's student athletes have achieved 22 All-Conference accolades, 15 All-America honors, 19 All-Region, 21 CSC Academic All-District, four CSC Academic All-America distinctions, three MIAC Players of the Year, two professional contracts, and one MIAC Elite 22 Award. Flintham is the ninth head coach in the history of Gustavus men’s soccer. Since the program began in 1967, the Gusties own 18 MIAC regular season championships, has gone 7-3 in MIAC playoff championship games, and has made 16 appearances at the NCAA Championships – all marks that lead the conference.

Prior to Gustavus, Flintham was the head men’s and women’s soccer coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University. At Nebraska Wesleyan, Flintham guided the programs to a combined 49 wins in his three seasons, including 33 shutouts. In his last season, the men went 11-7-1 overall and won their first playoff game in 20 years. The NWU men also finished undefeated at home and went 10-0-1 in his last 11 games in Lincoln. Prior to his time at Nebraska Wesleyan, Flintham was the associate head soccer coach at Saint John’s University from 2010-14. He also served as an assistant at the College of Saint Benedict from 2012-14. In his last two seasons at CSB/SJU he coached 52 wins, two MIAC titles, three MIAC championship games, and travelled to the NCAA tournament.

From 2008-10, Flintham was head coach at both Valley Catholic High School in Beaverton, Ore. and the F.C. Portland Soccer Academy in Hillsboro, Ore. At Valley Catholic, he achieved a 29-4-4 record, the 2018 State Coach of the Year award, back-to-back District 1 Coach of the Year awards, and was a finalist for NCSAA National Coach of the Year.

Flintham earned his bachelor’s degree from Saint John’s in 2006. He was a three-year starting forward for the Johnnies, playing in 65 games from 2002-05 with 21 goals and 19 assists for 61 points. Flintham was an All-Region selection while earning MIAC All-Conference and Academic All-Conference in 2005. His senior year, Flintham captained the team to the conference playoff championship and finished the regular season as the MIAC statistical leader for both goals and assists. He earned his master's degree in sport management from St. Cloud State University in 2014.

Tudor lives with his partner, Theresa Naumann.
