Patrick Clark is in his ninth season as an assistant for the men's tennis team in the 2024-25 season. 

Clark joined the program's coaching staff after a successful four-year playing career for the Gusties, coaching as a full-time assistant from 2012-13 before rejoining the staff in 2017.

He has played a part in directing the Gusties to several MIAC regular season and playoff championships. Last season, Clark helped the Gusties achieve a 23-8 overall record while reaching the second round of the NCAA tournament. He also coached All-American doubles players Gage Gohl, Tyler Haddorff, Marco Siviero, and Josh Christensen, while Gohl also earned All-America singles accolades. 

Prior to graduating in 2012 with a degree in psychology, Clark was a three-time MIAC All-Conference selection on the court. Clark compiled a singles record of 55-25 and a doubles mark of 49-33. He was also selected to the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team in his senior year. While a member of the tennis team, Clark and the Gusties won four consecutive MIAC regular season titles and three MIAC playoff championships, advancing to the national tournament in every season but 2010.
