Randall Stuckey is in his 18th season as the assistant coach for the men's and women's golf teams in the 2024-25 academic year.

Stuckey announced his retirement in the spring of 2024, retiring from his position as the Director of Athletic Development and Engagement.

Stuckey has been involved with the college in a number of ways since graduating in 1983. After teaching business education and coaching for two years, Stuckey joined the administration at Gustavus in 1985 as the assistant alumni director. He was named the Director of Alumni Relations in 1994 and served in that role until June of 2013.

Stuckey also served as the Gusties' head baseball coach from 1987-90. An alumni of the baseball program himself, Stuckey compiled a record of 49-68 in his time as head coach. In 2012, he received the Eric Norelius Award, given annually to an outstanding administrative employee who has demonstrated exceptional service and dedication to the College. For his work with the Gustavus women's golf team, Stuckey was named the 2021 Women's Golf Coaches Association National Assistant Coach of the Year.

A four-year letter winner and two-time captain in baseball at Gustavus, Stuckey helped the team to a MIAC championship in 1980.

Born in New Ulm, Minn., Randall currently lives in Saint Peter with his wife Beth (Onkka ’81) and has two children, Mark ’08 and Rachel ’10. The only thing he enjoys more than time on the golf course is the role of proud grandparent.
