Taylor Hemme is in her second season on the Gustavus coaching staff in the 2024-25 academic year.
Hemme, a 2021 Gustavus graduate, serves as an assistant coach for the Gusties as well as the team's mental performance coach.
Last season, Hemme helped the Gustavus women's soccer team to an overall record of 9-7-1 and MIAC record of 5-5-1 to tie for sixth place in the conference. The Gusties missed the playoffs on a tiebreaker, but posted a handful of notable performances, including defeating Saint Benedict for the first time in five seasons.
Sophomore Cambelle Waldspurger (Mahtomedi) was selected as the team's sole representative on the MIAC All-Conference team, while Annika Lewis (Sr., Hudson, Wis.) and Callie Patraw (Jr., Ramsey) were named Honorable Mention All-MIAC.
Prior to joining head coach Laura Burnett-Kurie and associate head coach Benton Frayne, Hemme was a midfielder for the Gustavus women's soccer team. In three years, Hemme played in 33 games, totaling three goals and six assists. Hemme led the 2019 team on the stat sheet with four assists throughout the season.
Hemme received her bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and psychological science in 2021 and her master's in kinesiology in 2023 from the University of Minnesota.
