The Gustavus women's soccer team was shut out for the first time this season losing to St. Olaf 1-0 in Northfield on Wednesday afternoon. The Gusties are now 3-2-0 overall and 0-1-0 in conference play.

The Oles got a goal from Jess Magnuson at the 18:20 mark of the first half and that was all they would need to slip past the Gusties.

Ashley Olson picked up the loss in the nets for Gustavus. She recorded five saves. Saint Olaf outshot the Gusties 12-9 in the match. The Oles put six shots on goal, while Gustavus recorded four shots on Saint Olaf goalkeeper Samanth Sickbert.

The Gusties will try to even their conference mark with a match at Concordia in Moorhead, Minn. on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
