LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Tuesday named Gustavus senior setter Kasie Tweet as the AVCA/GameChanger Women's Division III Player of the Week. 

Tweet averaged 11.8 assists per set in Gustavus's two conference wins last week. In the sweep over St. Olaf she had a double-double, with 33 assists and 14 digs. The following day against Saint Benedict, she added 38 assists, which moved her into fifth place for career assists in the school record book. Tweet ranks fourth in Division III with 960 total assists and is 13th in assists per set (10.11). 

Tweet becomes the second Gustie player to be named National Player of the Week, joining Nora Holton (Oct. 23, 2018).

Tweet and the Gusties return to the court Friday night at Augsburg.
