BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Lauren Klaith and Kasie Tweet were named MIAC Offensive and Specialist Volleyball Players of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. 

Klaith was unstoppable in the Gusties' two wins last week, combining for a hitting percentage of .622 between the two matches as an outside hitter. Klaith tallied 29 kills last week (14.5/match and 4.8/set), and committed only one error on 45 attempts. 

Kasie Tweet eclipsed 1,000 season assists for the third time in her career Saturday night against Bethel. Tweet totaled 75 assists in the Gusties two wins, as well as six kills, a pair of aces, and three blocks. Tweet now has 1,035 assists this season. Her 10.25 assists per set ranks 11th in NCAA DIII, while her 1,035 season assists ranks third in all NCAA divisions.
