BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — It's safe to say Kylie Scott has made an impact in the lineup for the Gustavus women's hockey team. After all, the first-year defender has six points in her last five games, and has helped the Gusties maintain one of the premier defenses in NCAA Division III. Scott added to her point total last weekend, helping the team sweep Saint Benedict, 4-1 and 6-1, to maintain an undefeated MIAC record of 8-0. Scott scored a goal in each game and held the Bennies to only 37 shots between the two competitions. For her performance, Scott was named MIAC Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
