BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Rachel Kawiecki posted a record night in leading the Gusties over Saint Benedict last Monday. The junior shot an impressive 11-for-15 from the field (73.3%) for a career-high 23 points. Kawiecki added four rebounds and an assist to her stat line in just 25 minutes of play in the victory. Kawiecki also led the Gusties in the first quarter against Augsburg, posting eight points in nine minutes on 4-for-5 shooting from the floor. She added a rebound, two assists, and two blocks in the game before it was postponed. For her performance, Kawiecki was named MIAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.
