BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Gustavus sophomore guard Myles Barnette was named MIAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Barnette helped the Gusties earn a pair of MIAC wins last week, 97-74 over Augsburg on Wednesday and 79-72 over Concordia on Saturday. Barnette had his best defensive performance in the win over Concordia, collecting four steals, two blocks, and three rebounds. In the two games combined, Barnette tallied five steals, two blocks, four assists, seven rebounds, and scored 24 points.
