"We had an awesome start today at Emerald through about eight holes, and then we gave back a few shots in the middle, but then hung on for a good finish," said Head Coach
Scott Moe '95. "We were 12 shots better than yesterday, so very pleased how we performed. We have a quick turnaround as we prepare for conference championships this next weekend in St. Cloud. We have some focus this week on work around the greens, St. Cloud Country Club is a great test and we look forward to the battle."
The team will take to the MIAC Championships from Saturday to Monday at the St. Cloud Country Club. The MIAC Golf Championships will be a three-day, 54-hole stroke play event. Teams shall consist of five golfers with the top four individual scores counting for each round. The Gusties took sixth at last year's conference championship.
