WASECA, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College men's cross country team competed in the Coach Finanger Invitational hosted by Luther College on Saturday. The Gusties finished second out of the field of six teams at the 4k invite.
 
Nick Brauer led Gustavus at the invite, placing second overall out of the field of 88 runners with a time of 12:26.9.
 
Will Janzen followed shortly after Brauer, crossing the finish line at 12:35.4 to place fourth overall.
 
Evan Pouliot took seventh overall at the invite with a time of 12:53.0 for the third-best Gustavus finish.
 
Soren Sackreiter ran the race in 12:57.2, placing 15^th overall.
 
Matthew Berge had a top-15 finish at the invite with a time of 13:05.8.
 
Up next for the Gusties is a trip to Rock Island, Illinois on Saturday, October 18 for the Augustana Interregional Invitational.
