SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's swimming & diving team competed against the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Pointers and the Minnesota State University Mankato Mavericks on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties won four events in the triangular meet and were top-three in 12 events.
Annika Beck led Gustavus in both the 500 and 1000 freestyle races, winning with times of 5:22.35 and 10:59.45 respectively.
Stella Anderson Moye placed second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:59.33.
Leah Felton had a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle, crossing the finish line at 25.10.
Caitlyn Otto took third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.36. Gustavus won the 400 freestyle relay, placing first with a time of 3:38.58.
In the 200 butterfly,
Madison Witte placed first with a time of 2:14.99.
Felicia Symreng and
Lindsay Sundby led Gustavus in the 200 backstroke and 200 breaststroke with third place finishes. Symreng finished third in the backstroke in 2:16.95. Sunby took third in the 200 breaststroke at 2:38.27.
In the diving events,
Gabriella Stoudt led the Gusties with a second-place finish in the three-meter (242.85) and a third-place finish in the one-meter (211.35).
Gustavus took third in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:52.45.
