WAVERLY, Iowa – The Gustavus Adolphus College men's cross country team competed in the Dan Huston Invite hosted by Wartburg College on Saturday. The Gusties finished fourth out of the field of 16 competing teams.
 
Nick Brauer led Gustavus at the invite, placing 24^th overall out of the field of 294 runners with a time of 25:45.0.
 
Will Janzen followed less than a minute later at 38^th overall, finishing in 26:18.9
 
Evan Pouliot (26:24.4), Soren Sackreiter (26:34.4), and Matthew Berge (27:22.7) rounded out the top five finishes for the Gusties on Saturday, placing 43^rd, 48^th, and 87^th overall.
 
Up next for the Gusties is a trip to Waseca on Saturday, October 11 for the Coach Finanger Invitational.
