GRINNELL, Iowa - The Gustavus Adolphus College men's diving team competed in the Grinnell Diving Invitational this weekend against Luther College and Washington University of St. Louis.
The Gusties finished as the runner-up at the invite with 44 points. Luther won the meet with 74 points. WashU finished last with 32 points.
Cole Matetich had the top Gustavus score in the three-meter dive at 227.05, placing fourth. The senior also had a fifth-place finish in the one-meter dive with a score of 253.30.
Trevor Johnson led the Gusties in the one-meter dive with a fourth-place finish, earning a score of 277.30.
Up next for the Gusties is their trip to Puerto Rico at the start of the new year followed by a meet at Carleton on January 16 at 5:00 p.m.
