BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Gustavus sophomore guard Myles Barnette has been selected MIAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Barnette played disruptive defense in a pair of Gustie victories, helping the team force 23 turnovers while limiting opponents to 42.6 percent shooting. Barnette coraled eight rebounds, two steals, and tallied a blocked shot in wins over Saint Mary's and Bethel. Barnette earns MIAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season (Dec. 9).
