SAINT PETER, Minn. – The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were released Tuesday and eight Gustavus student-athletes received recognition for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Academic All-District selections on the Gustie women's team include Kylie Baranick, Syd Hauger, Morgan Kelly, and Emma Kniefel, while the Gustie men's selections include Adam Biewen, Brady Kienitz, Carson Koch, and Evan Wieker. 

To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have played in at least 90 percent of the team's competition (or start in 66 percent) throughout the season. 

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in mid April.
