SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus track & field team enjoyed a sunny spring day to welcome back alumni for the annual Drake Alternative meet on Saturday.Â

The Gusties won nine events throughout the day. On the women's side,
Laura Thauvin won the 100-hurdles in a personal best 14.97.
Kate Carlson set the meet record in the 200-meter with a time of 24.70, which ranks 29th in Division III this season.
Megan Geraets set a meet and facility record in the 400-meter with the third fastest time in Division III this season at 54.34.
Kelley Brennan won the hammer throw with a mark of 166-11. And
Lili Guy won the triple jump with a leap of 36-11.0.Â
Other notable performances for the women include Carlson taking second in the 100-meter at 12.26,
Emily Podulke finishing second in the 400-hurdles at 1:09.68,
Aubrey Mair second in the 800-meter at 2:19.07,
Molly Liston crossing second in the 1500-meter at 4:51.71. In the field,
Bella Sutch took second in the discus with a personal best mark of 131-08.
Rebecca Hoffman finished second in the hammer with a personal best 143-09.
Anna Lacy placed second in the javelin at 104-02. Guy finished second in the long jump at 17-0.50. And
Sarrah Lindner took second in the triple jump at 35-6.75.Â
Winners for the Gustie men included
Wyatt Hudspith in teh discus with a heave of 142-02,
Brendan Carlson in the high jump, clearing 6-6.0, and
Liam Frommelt in the long jump with a distance of 21-9.5. Frommelt also set the meet record in the triple jump with a length of 46-7.5, which ranks 22nd in Division III this season.Â
More notable marks for the men include
Carson Roehl second in the 800-meter with a personal best 1:56.53,
Will Janzen second in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 9:51.13, and
Isaiah Subah second in the long jump at 21-4.25.Â
Gustavus next competes Wednesday at the MSU-Mankato Maverick Open #1.Â
