BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Joe Flory of the Gustavus Adolphus College men's soccer team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Flory scored two goals and had an assist for the Gusties as they rallied to defeat Luther 4-2 last Friday. Gustavus trailed 2-1 in the second half until the junior scored the equalizer in the 54th minute and then later the game-winner in the 77
th minute. Flory also assisted on another goal two minutes later to give Gustavus the 4-2 win.
Up next for the Gusties is their conference opener on the road at Augsburg on Wednesday, Saturday 17 at 7:30 p.m.
