MINNEAPOLIS – The Gustavus Adolphus College men's soccer team faced the No. 5 nationally ranked Augsburg University Auggies on the road on Wednesday night in their conference-opener. Both teams fired 15 shots with eight on goal, but the Auggies found the back of the net once as the Gusties fell 1-0.
Mizael Harris scored the lone goal of the game in the 9
th minute of regulation with Remus Repcak assisting.
Joe Flory and
Kieran Mahan each took three shots with two on goal for the Gusties.
Quinton Geddes had seven saves for Gustavus in the game.
Up next for the Gusties is a return to Saint Peter for a home conference game against the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m.
