SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's soccer team faced the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans on Saturday in their home opener. The Gusties and Titans battled to a 1-1 draw.
After a scoreless opening half, UW-Oshkosh scored in the 54
th minute to go up 1-0.
Gustavus answered in the 64
th minute as
Tessa Zachmann centered a pass to
Haillee Wilson who scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season to tie the game up at 1-1.
Katelyn Olson saved seven shots on goal in the game for the Gusties.
Up next for the Gusties is a trip to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to battle the Falcons on Wednesday, September 10 at 4:00 p.m.
