SAINT PETER, Minn. - Incoming junior
Brayden Kohls (Norwood, Minn.) has been named a preseason All-American, D3Baseball.com announced on Wednesday.
During the 2025 season, Kohls led the team in batting average with a .416 clip, while also leading the team in hits and at-bats. The Norwood native was also 11-for-14 on stolen base attempts and operated at a 0.990 fielding percentage in center field for the Gusties, helping the team go 37-9 (17-3 MIAC) and host the opening weekend of the NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament. Additionally, Kohls is the one of two MIAC player selected to the team, joined by Carleton RHP/1B Will Schnepf.Â
The Gustavus baseball team's first game is scheduled for February 21, hosting UW-Superior for a doubleheader if weather permits.Â
