BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Addison Longie of the Gustavus Adolphus College women's golf team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Longie was the medalist at the Gustie Spring Classic, placing first atop a field of 75 golfers with a two-round score of +7. The first year shot +4 in the first round on Saturday and then shot +3 in the final round on Sunday to win the individual title and help Gustavus finish second out of the 11 teams.
Up next for Gustavus is the two-round Bethel Spring Invite at Oneka Ridge Golf Course in White Bear Lake starting on Saturday, April 18.
