The Gusties shot +37 in the opening round and followed with a round of +34 to place fifth out of the field of 11 teams with a two-day invitational score of +71.

"Now that our first tournament is completed, we have a starting base," said Gustavus head coach Scott Moe. "We have some decisions to make moving forward, which can be a good thing."

"Many players had better rounds and better results today," said Moe. "Addy had a great round at minus one. Looking forward to hosting our event next week in a big field at Emerald Greens. We will be ready for competition."

Up next for the Gusties is their D3 Classic. The two-day invitational, hosted by Gustavus, tees off this upcoming weekend starting Friday, September 12 at Emerald Greens Golf Course in Hastings, Minnesota.
