Ethan Schwartz is in his first season as the assistant men's hockey coach alongside first-year head coach Tyler Walsh in the 2024-25 academic year.

Schwartz joined the program with Walsh in the summer of 2024. A graduate of the University of Maine, Schwartz comes to Gustavus after serving as a student assistant for the Maine men's hockey team for three years. 

While at Maine, Schwartz managed film, updated statistics, and scouted opposing teams and prospective players. He is also the 18U assistant coach for Boston Hockey Academy, a role he has held since the summer of 2023. 

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Schwartz played three years of junior hockey in the WSHL, EHL, and USPHL leagues.
