LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) recently honored eight Gustavus softball student-athletes as Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athletes for the 2021-22 academic year – Payton Belt (So., Indianola, Iowa), Sierra Meyer (Sr., Waconia), Madelyn Mueller (So., North Mankato), Kate Murray (Jr., Minnetonka), Piper Otto (Sr., Brooklyn Park), Amara Packey (Sr., Fridley), Mackenzie Skuza (Sr., Princeton), Chloe Smallfield (Fy., Papillion, Neb.). Athletes must achieve at least a 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) to be recognized as Scholar-Athletes.
