SAINT PAUL, Minn. - After a slow start and first set loss Saturday, the Gustavus volleyball team came back with three straight sets for a 3-1 win at Hamline. The 16th-ranked Gusties improve to 16-4 overall and 5-0 in the MIAC.Â
The Gusties outhit the Pipers .288-.146 and had five more service aces.
Lauren Klaith and
Marlee Turn each had 16 kills to pace the offense. Turn added 14 digs for the double-double.
Payton Auseth and
Maren Sundberg led the back line with 18 digs apiece.
Kasie Tweet tallied 42 assists and is now over 3,000 for her career, becoming the fifth setter in program history to reach that milestone.Â
Gustavus returns home Tuesday night for a conference match against Concordia.Â
