BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Megan Geraets won the long jump with a distance of 5.65 meters (18' 6.5") at the Maverick Invitational on Friday. The distance was just shy of the school record, is a college best for Geraets, and now ranks ninth on the NCAA Division III performance list this season. For her performance, Geraets was named MIAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. This is Geraets' second weekly honor this season, but first in the field events, as she previously earned Track Athlete of the Week for her performance on Jan. 28.
