5/14/2026 2:00:00 PM

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - 18 members of the Gustavus women's track & field team have earned All-Conference or Honorable Mention honors, the MIAC officially announced on Thursday. The awards were earned at the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, where senior Molly Liston led, earning two All-Conference honors herself.

Senior Molly Liston (Richfield, Minn.) brought in two All-Conference honors after earning two at the Indoor Championships as well, getting second in both the 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter at the Outdoor Championships. Sophomore Keira McCord (Roseville, Minn.) earned All-Conference honors on Friday night in the discus throw with a 42.18 meter mark for third place and a personal best, good for the new Division III No. 62 mark. The field continued to be a strong spot for the Gustie women, with sophomore Bella Sutch (Blaine, Minn.) winning the shot put on Saturday, throwing a bomb at 13.52 meters and pushing her inside the cut line for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships at No. 21. As has become the norm this season, the first-year triple jump duo from Prior Lake, Minn. of Kaylee Hawks and Ava Loftness performed very well at the conference meet, getting second and third, respectively. Hawks jumped the new No. 25 in Division III, an 11.74 meter mark, while Loftness followed closely behind at 11.52 meters.

13 more individuals gained Honorable Mention distinctions across 11 honors, starting with a triple from first-year Sophia Vogel (Prinsburg, Minn.). Vogel got fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles before joining sophomores Allison Stacy (Maple Grove, Minn.) and Laura Thauvin (Mankato, Minn.) along with Loftness for a fourth-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay. Stacy was also responsible for one more Honorable Mention, getting sixth in the 200-meter with a time of 25.88, a personal best. After McCord got third in the discus, junior Olivia Duncan (Savage, Minn.) and Sutch followed suit, finishing fourth and sixth for two more Honorable Mention marks. Sophomore Kayla Kajer (Lake Elmo, Minn.) eclipsed 1.58 meters in the high jump on Friday night, earning her first award of her sophomore season and continuing with vertical jumps, senior Maddox Lee got sixth in the pole vault to earn her status. First-year Yonna Harris (Mankato, Minn.) had the last honor in the field, earning Honorable Mention status in the shot put with a 12.84 meter throw, good for fifth.

In the relays, first-year Katja Wallin (Arden Hills, Minn.) and sophomore Ella Kienitz (Raymond, Minn.) earned two Honorable Mention marks, first in the 4x400-meter relay. Wallin and Kienitz were joined by first-year Addison Enfield (Northfield, Minn.) and senior Isabel Fynboh (Morris, Minn.) for a fifth-place finish at 4:03.91 before being joined by first-years Ellyn Soli (Ham Lake, Minn.) and Enfield in the 4x800-meter relay, where the group also finished fifth with a 9:41.88 time.

The women finished with five All-Conference members across six honors, which marks the eighth consecutive year where the school and program can boast at least five honors. In addition, the team finished fourth, which marks the seventh year where the team has finished in the top four or better at the Outdoor Championships.
