BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Megan Geraets took first in the 200-meter with a time of 24.49 at the Bethel Invitational Saturday, a new meet and stadium record. Geraets won the event with the MIAC's best time this outdoor season, and the second-best all-conditions time in school history. She was also a part of the winning 4x100 relay team that took first with a new season-best time of 48.59, a time that now ranks first in the MIAC. Geraets was the only athlete to win three events at the meet, as the junior also took first in the long jump with the NCAA's eighth-best jump this season. For her performance, Geraets was named MIAC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
