DESTIN, Fla. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's golf team is competing in the three-round Golfweek Invitational this week. The Gusties stand in 12
th place out of the field of 24 teams after shooting +31 on day one of the tournament on Sunday.
"Strong start for the women in an extremely deep and talented field," said Gustavus head coach
Scott Moe. "Pleased with our overall score. Great rounds today by Riley and Addy. Riley having five birdies on that golf course is awesome."
Riley Zebroski led the Gusties on day one, shooting +3 to tie for 13
th overall out of the field of 120 golfers.
Addison Longie had the second-best score of the day for the Gusties, shooting +4 to tie for 18
th overall.
Lauren Hubbart and
Emily Kolb both shot +12 to tie for 75
th overall.
Teckla Wahlstrand shot +15 to tie for 92
nd overall.
"Looking forward to a well-balanced attack tomorrow," said Moe. "Weather has been fantastic, same expectations the next two days. Excited to showcase what we can do on day two tomorrow."
