ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's soccer team battled the St. Catherine University Wildcats on the road Saturday afternoon in a conference contest, falling 3-0.
The Wildcats scored in the 36
th minute and led 1-0 at halftime. St. Kate's added two more goals in the second half to defeat the Gusties 3-0.
The Gusties were outshot 23-to-15 and the Wildcats had a 14-to-8 edge in shots on goal.
Katelyn Olson had 11 saves in goal for Gustavus.
Cambelle Waldspurger led the Gusties with six total shots.
Kate Hamski had three shots on goal.
Up next for Gustavus is their final game of the regular season on the road at Saint Mary's University on Saturday, November 1 at 3:30 p.m.
