BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Maren Sundberg of the Gustavus Adolphus College volleyball team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Volleyball Specialty Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
 
Sundberg surpassed 2,000 career digs last week, becoming just the third player in Gustavus program history to reach that milestone. In four matches, the senior accumulated 82 digs (4.41 per set) to lead the defensive effort to go along with 15 assists. In the Gusties' upset win over No. 10 WashU, Sundberg had 20 digs and four assists.
