SAINT PETER, Minn. - On Tuesday, November 18th, senior defensive back Eric Lyons Jr. (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) was named to the D3football.com National Team of the Week.

Lyons capped off his collegiate career with a 100-yard interception return late in the fourth quarter to put an exclamation point on a 38-14 victory for Gustavus on senior day against Macalester. He also had three pass breakups and seven total tackles for the Gusties in the win. 

The award is the team's first since Caden Kleinschmidt (Sr., Morgan, Minn.) last year, also against Macalester, when he hauled in 228 yards and three touchdowns on seven receptions.
