BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Annika Beck of the Gustavus Adolphus College women's swim & dive team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Beck won the 1650 freestyle (17:58.12) and the 500 freestyle (5:12.53), placed second in the 400 IM (4:45.86), and finished fifth in 200 butterfly (2:17.21) at the Luther Invite this past weekend. The first-year also helped Gustavus place second in the 800 freestyle relay (7:56.13) and 400 freestyle relay (3:38.97), ninth in the 200 medley relay (1:55.50), and 13th in the 400 medley relay (4:18.19).
Gustavus swim & dive next competes in their Blizzard Intrasquad meet on Saturday, December 6 at 10:00 a.m.
