SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus gymnastics team claimed a WIAC dual victory over Hamline University, 185.675-182.7875, Friday, Feb. 14 at the Sponberg Gymnastics Studio.

The Gusties (2-7, 2-5 WIAC), led by the performance of Lili Guy (Sr., Glendale Heights, Ill.), broke the program vault record for a third time this season, totaling a 47.750 in the event, bettering the 47.700 set on Jan. 18 at the Rhode Island College Triangular. The score led the team to a new season-high total of 185.675, posting a 44.575 on bars, a 45.250 on beam, and a 48.100 on floor. The floor score was also a Gustavus season-high.

Guy led the Gusties in the vault in their first rotation of the night, scoring a 9.775 for the highest score of the meet, her personal career-best, and the top score in program history – her second time setting the program record in the event.
