"Our coaching staff is so proud of our team this weekend," said Head Coach Aaron Lund. "The effort across the board by the whole team was incredible. We beat our projected scores and moved ahead in the team standings. Our conference continues to get stronger and stronger. It took many national qualifying type performances just to win a conference event. It was a great environment this weekend. I am proud to be a part of this conference and I am so proud of our team.

"We had a season best performance in almost every event. It was great to see our first year athletes gain experience and also perform at a high level. I know our entire team is happy with their efforts but definitely not satisfied. Most of the team will get a little time now to rest, reset, and shift our focus to competing even better for the outdoor championships."

A select few Gusties will compete at the UW-La Crosse Qualifier next Saturday before selections are made for the NCAA Indoor Championships, which are held March 14-15 in Rochester, N.Y.
