Maizie Anderson (Rosemount, Minn.),
Caitlin Olafsson (Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge), and
Lauren Lambert (Woodbury, Minn./Tartan) and sophomore

Each institution may nominate up to five student-athletes for Academic All-District recognition in softball. Nominees must be a sophomore or older with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher. On the field, nominees must have played 90 percent of their team's games or started 66 percent of the season. Pitchers must have made either 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings to be eligible at the time of nomination (May 20).
The CSC Academic All-District honor is the first of Dahlen's career, which she capped with her first All-Conference selection earlier this month (May 19). A psychology, biochemistry and molecular biology major with a 3.64 GPA, Dahlen is expected to receive her third Academic All-MIAC distinction (minimum 3.50 GPA) this summer.
Dahlen led the Gusties with a .353 batting average this season, playing and starting in 38 of the Gusties' 40 games. She totaled 42 hits in 119 at-bats with 21 runs, five doubles, a triple, and 21 RBI. Dahlen was hit by a pitch 11 times this season, breaking her own season record of 10 set in her freshman year. The 2023 Rawlings Gold Glove Award Recipient, Dahlen posted a fielding percentage of .957 with 44 putouts in right field.
One of the Gustie aces this season, Anderson collected her third-consecutive All-MIAC honor after establishing herself as one of the conference's top arms. Anderson, a 3.60 GPA in business management, is earning her first CSC honor alongside Dahlen and Carlson. She appeared in 22 games, starting in 20, with a record of 11-9 and 3.38 ERA in 116.0 innings pitched. The junior righty collected 10 complete game performances, two shutouts and one save, as well as 105 strikeouts, a career-high. She was named the MIAC Pitcher of the Week once this season and was third amongst MIAC pitchers in strikeouts.
Olafsson, who was awarded her first All-MIAC selection this season, collected the second Academic All-District distinction of her career. A public health and psychology major with a 3.94 GPA, Olafsson batted .301 this season, playing and starting in 38 games. She collected 37 hits in 123 at-bats with 22 runs, six doubles, four triples, and 20 RBI. Her four triples were first on the team while her 20 RBI were second behind only Dahlen.
Lambert's CSC selection is also her second, as the junior statistics major has maintained a 4.0 GPA. Lambert played and started in 37 games this season, collecting 27 hits in 107 at-bats (.252 batting average). She picked up eight extra-base hits, all of which were doubles, and 18 RBI, which was tied for third amongst the team. Lambert was walked a team-high 18 times this season bringing her career total to 68, five shy of the program record held by Kelly Reddy '94.
Carlson, the lone sophomore selection, quarterbacked the infield at short, starting and playing in 36 games. Carlson, a business management major with a 3.50 GPA, batted .255 this season with 24 hits in 94 at-bats. She added four doubles and seven RBI with 15 runs. She logged 52 putouts and 85 assists in the infield.
Gustavus finished seventh in the MIAC, two wins out of playoff contention, with a 9-13 conference record (19-21 overall).
