SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's soccer team faced the College of St. Scholastica Saints on Saturday afternoon in a conference contest. The two teams battled to a 1-1 draw.
Tessa Zachmann scored the lone goal for the Gusties, her second of the year, in the 55
th minute. The Saints responded with a goal of their own just three minutes later, tying the match at 1-1. Neither team would score again as the defenses held the rest of the way.
Gustavus outshot St. Scholastica by a 28 to 15 margin in the game. The Gusties also had 14 shots on goal to the Saints six.
Katelyn Olson had five saves in goal for Gustavus.
