SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women's soccer team hosted the College of St. Benedict Bennies at home on Saturday afternoon in a conference contest, falling 2-0.
St. Ben's first scored in the 27th minute. The Gusties ramped up their attack in the second half as they chased an equalizer, outshooting the Bennies 11-6 in the second half, but would fall short. St. Ben's scored a second goal within the final 30 seconds of the game to defeat Gustavus 2-0.
Up next for the Gusties is a road trip to Northfield to take on St. Olaf on Wednesday, October 1 at 4:00 p.m.
