BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Eli Wolff of the No. 12 nationally ranked Gustavus Adolphus College men's basketball team has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Wolff scored a career-high 30 points on 9-for-11 (82%) shooting from three-point range to power No. 12 Gustavus (17-1, 9-0 MIAC) to a 101-88 victory at Augsburg on Saturday and extend their winning streak to 15 consecutive games. The senior also scored 14 points in 19 minutes on 50% (4-for-8) shooting from beyond the arc in a 92-56 rout of St. Scholastica on Wednesday. Overall, Wolff averaged 22.0 points per game on 64% shooting from the field with a stellar 68% (13-for-19) clip from long range.
