2/25/2026 7:45:00 PM

SAINT PETER, Minn. — The Gustavus men's track and field team travels to Carleton College this weekend for the 2026 MIAC Indoor Championships, looking to capitalize on one of its most complete indoor seasons in recent years.

The multi events begin Thursday at 2 p.m., followed by field events at 4 p.m. Friday and track events at 4:30 p.m. Saturday's schedule resumes with field events at 11:45 a.m. and track at 1 p.m.

All tickets must be purchased online through HomeTown Ticketing. No cash sales will be available at the venue. Tickets are $13 for adults, $4 for students, and free for children five and under. Prices are subject to a credit card processing fee.

The Gusties enter the meet with 13 athletes currently seeded in scoring positions and several more within striking distance, giving the squad depth across nearly every event group.

Connor McCormick headlines the multi events in the heptathlon, where he aims to capture a MIAC title and strengthen his case for a national qualifying mark.

On the track, Jade Anstine is seeded fourth in both the 55m at 6.98 and the 200m at 22.55, positioning himself as a podium contender in the sprints. Nick Brauer also sits fourth in both the 1000m at 2:31.71 and the mile at 4:19.35 and will look to convert strong seeding into all conference finishes.

In the field, Kyler Flunker enters the high jump as the top seed at 1.95m and will aim to close out his indoor campaign with a conference title.

Additional scoring threats include Conner Martens in the 200m and 400m, Logan Jandro in the 600m, Will Janzen in the 5000m, Carter Will in the shot put, Liam Frommelt in the triple jump, Amos Anderson in the heptathlon, and Landon Gilbertson in the high jump.
