BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College men's hockey team had six players earn Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Awards for the 2025-26 season, the conference announced on Wednesday. Four Gusties earned All-Conference awards and two were named Honorable Mentions with two players also earning All-Playoff team honors.
Drew Holt was named to the All-Conference and All-Playoff teams. The junior forward led Gustavus with 23 points this winter with three goals and a team-high 20 assists. Holt's assist numbers ranked third-most in the MIAC and his 0.74 assists per game ranked fourth.
Wilmer Svensson was named to the All-Conference team. The senior forward finished the season with 11 goals, which tied him for the team lead and placed him eighth in the MIAC. His 0.52 goals per game ranked sixth in the conference. The junior scored two overtime game-winners for the Gusties this year. In faceoffs, Svensson's 198 wins ranked 10
th in the MIAC while his face-off win percentage of .558 was sixth in the conference.
Jack Anderson was named to the All-Conference team. The junior defenseman recorded the third-most points and assists for the Gusties this year with 18 and 13, respectively. Anderson also had the second-most blocks on the team with 22.
Ludvig Mellgren was named to the All-Conference and the All-Playoff teams. The first-year defender had the second-best point total at 22 and plus/minus at +19 on the team. Mellgren's eight goals tied for the fourth-most on the team and his 14 assists ranked second on the team and 11
th in the MIAC.
Grant Ellings was named an All-Conference Honorable Mention. The junior forward's 19 points were the third-most on the team. His 11 goals were tied for the eighth-most in the MIAC. Ellings' +14 plus/minus ranked fourth for the Gusties.
Sam Rice was named an All-Conference Honorable Mention. The sophomore forward totaled 20 points with 10 goals and 10 assists. For Gustavus, Rice ranked third in points, third in goals, and sixth in assists. The sophomore also scored two game-winners.
The Gusties finished their 2025-26 season 18-8-1 overall and 12-4-0 in the MIAC.
